Thanks for doing your part, now what about these big corporations who have been using tax loopholes and offshore tax havens

If you’ve paid your taxes or are about to file, thanks for doing your part.

Now if only the biggest corporations could do the same.

Tell Congress not to renew two tax loopholes that reward big corporations and Wall Street for shifting profits to offshore tax havens.
The ugly truth that corporations like General Electric, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup don’t want you to know is that they get tax breaks in the billions for moving their profits – and jobs – offshore.

Just as soon as Congress gets back from its break, it will take up a bill that renews two loopholes that are worth $80 billion every decade.

That $80 billion goes right back to the corporations.

Your tax dollars help build roads and bridges, and keep communities strong by funding services like education and health care.

Every dollar in taxes that they dodge through offshore schemes is a dollar we don’t have for our country.

It’s Tax Day. Let’s make sure everyone pays their fair share.

Help close these two tax loopholes.
There’s more to do after this. If we can get Congress to end these loopholes, we’ll be taking a tremendous step, and showing them that we’re watching to see if they’re supporting the biggest corporations – or the people they represent.
